Responsibilities

Build, own, and continuously improve the company’s demand planning process and tools.

Develop detailed short-term and long-term sales forecasts by SKU, channel, and customer

Collaborate with the Supply Planner and Operations team to ensure production plans meet forecasted demand while optimizing working capital and minimizing stockouts

Partner closely with the Sales team to gather input on customer forecasts, promotional plans, and distribution changes — ensuring accuracy and accountability across the organization.

Deep dive into company’s Trade Promotion Management software and retailer data to ensure lifts are accurately forecasted in planning model

Monitor forecast accuracy and identify key drivers of variance, making data-backed recommendations for improvement

Own the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) demand build — ensuring alignment between Finance, Sales, and Operations

Lead demand review meetings as part of the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process.

Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and models to communicate forecast performance, risks, and opportunities

Drive continuous improvement in forecasting methodology and process efficiency.

Requirements

3–5+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management (CPG industry preferred)

Strong Excel skills are required

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail, but proactively ask for help when necessary

Thrives in a high paced environment

Able to coordinate, respectfully challenge assumptions, and communicate timely with multiple departments

Willing to get your hands dirty - we’ve spent hours packing boxes and moving stuff around ourselves
