Senior Living Memory Care Program Director

Our Senior Living Memory Care Program Directors are responsible for:
Operational performance and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Maintaining records and documentation per policy.
Assisting RCD/GHD in training all Garden House Team Members.
Communicating with families regarding residents’ engagement.
Evaluating incoming residents and conducting periodic re‑evaluations to identify interests and activity needs.
Co‑ordinating daily activity routines with GM and GHD, including specialized activities.
Collaborating with ALPD to coordinate events for AL/IL and GH residents.
Planning, coordinating, and participating in dementia‑appropriate activities, social events, and outings in line with engagement standards.
Ordering supplies, scheduling, and setting up all activities in the Garden House.
Providing GM and GHD with daily status reports on all Garden House residents.
Ensuring the neighborhood is clean, orderly, and secure in common and activity areas.
Providing assistance with housekeeping, laundry, meals as appropriate.
Other duties as assigned.
Providing leadership in creating and maintaining high standards of Garden House activities.
Meeting with residents and families regularly as directed.
Ensuring residents’ activity needs are met with attention to individuality & dignity while maintaining optimal functional ability in a professional and safe manner.
Ensuring the Garden House team is fully trained in the Inspire Connection activity program.
Acknowledging residents’ special days and arranging diverse holiday celebrations.
Tracking resident activity participation and adjusting calendar events accordingly.
Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent (must be at least 18 years of age).
Two years’ experience in dementia care.
Senior living experience preferred.
Must meet all background check and other requirements.
Physical Requirements This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the day. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
