Crew Capital
Head of Platform, Marketing, and Talent Acquisition – Crew Capital | UiPath Alum | Adviser
This role is open within one of our portfolio companies – Aktos.
Debt collection software is broken — and we're fixing it. Aktos is a modern platform purpose-built for debt collection agencies to run their entire business, replacing the patchwork of legacy systems they’ve had to rely on for decades. Our software is fast, intuitive, and automates the repetitive and error‑prone workflows that cost teams time and money. We're building the next‑generation infrastructure for the industry — and beyond.
We're a tight‑knit team of builders, dreamers, and doers backed by world‑class investors like
8VC
and
Crew Capital . Our customers love us, and our growth is accelerating.
Who You Are We’re looking for a Product Manager who is also a technologist—someone who understands how software works under the hood.
You’ll be our first full‑time product hire, defining your role, and working closely with the founding team to build a world‑class automation platform. We need someone who’s shipped enterprise software, understands databases, SaaS architecture, and APIs.
Bring holistic and technical intuition to product design. Understand how databases, APIs, and frontends work together. Know what’s easy, what’s hard, and what’s worth it.
Understand relational data models, schemas, and entity relationships.
Clearly translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable solutions.
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills— from executives, customers, and engineers—to LLMs and chatbots.
Responsibilities This role requires someone who thrives at the intersection of business processes, data modeling, and technical execution. You’ll be responsible for deeply understanding customer workflows, documenting their requirements, performing product wizardry to prioritize the features that will support the most customers, and collaborating with engineering to make them real.
Discovery & Requirements Gathering
Map and document complex collector and admin workflows end‑to‑end.
Partner with customers, operations, and onboarding teams to uncover detailed business requirements.
Identify edge cases, regulatory considerations, and data dependencies.
Imagine better solutions that meet these (and future) needs, while considering trade‑offs and constraints.
Technical Translation & Data Modeling
Translate business requirements and solutions into clear, technical product specs for engineering.
Work with engineers to design robust data models, while ensuring data integrity across integrations with third‑party systems.
Integration Ownership
Lead roadmap planning for third‑party integrations (skip tracing, letter vendors, payment portals, ERPs, etc.).
Define requirements for API‑based integrations, error handling, and sync frequency.
Drive consistency across integration frameworks and reusability of components.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and engineers, ensuring clarity of requirements and trade‑off decisions.
Collaborate and prototype workflow UIs that map to underlying technical complexity.
Execution & Delivery
Write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and data flow documentation.
Partner with engineers to validate data flows and integration edge cases.
Own feature lifecycle from ideation through launch and iteration.
Perks and Benefits
Competitive salary with employee stock options, bonus, and 401K.
Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
Remote‑first company — work wherever you work best!
Seniority level Mid‑Senior level
