Mission Create and lead a best‑in‑class product development engine. Own the journey from creative concept and tech‑pack creation to production, cost tracking, and delivery. Build new systems, elevate quality, and ensure every product meets Nash standards while scaling efficiently for growth.
Core Responsibilities
Translate design direction into accurate, production‑ready
tech packs
including specs, fabrics, trims, construction details, and measurements.
Lead sample development, fit sessions, and revisions until final approval.
Maintain and optimize the
seasonal product calendar , ensuring all timelines stay on track.
Manage the library of materials, trims, and prior product references.
Vendor and Production Management
Act as the primary contact for all vendors, both domestic and international.
Oversee vendor performance, lead times, quality control, and communication.
Negotiate pricing, MOQs, and delivery schedules to protect margins and maintain consistency.
Build and maintain a
vendor database
that tracks costs, capacity, and reliability.
Process Ownership and Team Leadership
Streamline the entire product development and ordering process to improve speed and accuracy.
Implement standardized systems for design hand‑off, sample approval, and purchase orders.
Work closely with the existing operations and design teams while shaping your own department structure as the business grows.
Create SOPs for development, tech‑pack documentation, and vendor communication.
Planning and Forecasting
Collaborate with leadership to develop seasonal line plans and product forecasts.
Use sales and margin data to inform design, volume, and production decisions.
Track all product costs through BOMs and ensure profitability at every stage.
Technology and Systems Integration
Utilize
NetSuite
to manage product data, inventory alignment, and purchase orders.
Work with PLM tools and digital asset management systems to centralize product documentation.
Maintain digital organization across all tech‑packs, timelines, and approvals.
Technical Requirements
NetSuite
experience required (product and inventory modules preferred).
Proficiency in
Adobe Illustrator
for tech‑pack design.
Advanced skills in
Excel or Google Sheets
for costing, forecasting, and data tracking.
Experience with
PLM or product tracking software
such as Backbone, WFX, or Centric.
Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, pattern development, and materials.
Familiarity with domestic and international production workflows.
Who You Are
7–10 years in apparel product development or sourcing for a lifestyle or streetwear brand.
Deep knowledge of the end‑to‑end product lifecycle.
Organized, process‑oriented, and skilled at turning creative chaos into structure.
