Overview Sunset Hill Veterinary and Rehabilitation Center, a CareVet partner, has a fantastic opportunity to join our thriving veterinary and rehabilitation practice in Seattle, WA.
This position offers a starting six‑figure minimum base salary plus production, generous signing bonus, true work/life balance, no upfront non‑compete, relocation assistance and more! This is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to and learn about rehabilitation and regenerative medicine.
Your Role as an Associate Veterinarian We are seeking a compassionate Veterinarian with experience or interest in surgery to help grow our busy practice! The ideal candidate should have effective communication skills, work well with staff, be a thorough diagnostician, a skilled surgeon, and feel comfortable with all aspects of dentistry including surgical extractions. Full‑time or part‑time positions are available. In this role, you will have the opportunity to practice high‑quality medicine and surgery while working closely with our skilled support staff. Your expertise and passion for patient care will contribute to the continued success of our clinic.

About the Hospital Since 2005, the team at Sunset Hill Veterinary & Rehabilitation Center has proudly served the Seattle and surrounding communities with compassionate, high‑quality care. We are dedicated to providing progressive, personalized medical treatment tailored to each patient’s unique needs. Our facility features four large, well‑equipped exam rooms and offers general practice and rehabilitation services all under one roof. We are equipped with diagnostic and treatment technologies, including digital dental x‑ray, ultrasound, laser, digital x‑ray, two full dental suites, in‑house laboratory and advanced diagnostics. Sunset Hill also offers a state‑of‑the‑art rehabilitation facility offering hydrotherapy, cold laser therapy, therapeutic ultrasound and regenerative medicine.

Benefits Pay Range: $100,000‑$120,000 annually, depending on position, location, experience and number of days worked per week.

Responsibilities
Examine animals to assess their health and diagnose problems
Treat and dress wounds
Perform surgery on animals
Test for and vaccinate against diseases
Operate medical equipment, such as x‑ray machines
Advise animal owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatments
Prescribe medication
Work closely in collaboration with team members to provide high‑quality care
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required
Licensure in the state where the candidate will be working
Ability to show compassion to both pets and their owners
Outstanding dexterity in handling animals while performing precise tasks
Ability to react quickly and make decisions under pressure about the well‑being of an animal
Strong fondness and understanding of animals
Good communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of animal behavior
Ability to use medical technologies during diagnosis, research and surgery of animals
