Role Overview As a Tax Manager, you will lead tax engagements, collaborate with partners on business strategies, and mentor junior staff. This role is ideal for an experienced tax professional who thrives in leadership and shaping the firm’s future.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee planning and scheduling of tax engagements.
Address complex tax issues and ensure high‑quality work products.
Provide business advice and develop tax strategies for privately held businesses and owners.
Calculate and analyze proprietary tax strategies.
Collaborate with firm partners on business and tax planning strategies.
Manage a client portfolio, ensuring their needs are met with precision and care.
Mentor and provide feedback to tax staff, fostering professional development.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s in Taxation preferred).
CPA or EA designation.
Experience in a managerial role.
Proficiency in corporate, individual, and/or partnership taxation.
Strong organizational skills and effective communication with financially sophisticated clients.
Must be local to the Bay Area.

Ability to work across a range of skill sets at both detail and strategic levels.

Salary & Benefits

Competitive salary range: $170,000 – $200,000.
