Overview
Grace Christian Schools, a ministry of Grace Community Church, is seeking a Christ-centered leader to serve as Head of Schools. This individual will provide spiritual, academic, and administrative leadership across the Preschool, Elementary, and Junior High programs, ensuring that all aspects of the school reflect the mission and values of Grace Community Church.
Reporting & Compensation Reports to: Grace Christian Schools Board Membership Requirement: Active member of Grace Community Church Salary Range: $90,000 to $140,000 annually
Qualifications
Born-again believer with a strong commitment to Christian education
Master’s Degree in Christian Education or equivalent
ACSI Administrative and Teaching Credentials
5–7 years of successful experience in teaching and school administration
Knowledge of Early Childhood Education preferred
Key Responsibilities Leadership & Administration
Oversee daily school operations and implement Board policies and goals
Ensure that all school operations, programs, and staff conduct align with the church’s standards and statement of faith
Promote clear communication between school, church, and families
Lead strategic planning and continuous school improvement efforts
Spiritual & Educational Leadership
Integrate a biblical worldview in teaching, curriculum, and culture
Provide spiritual leadership through prayer, devotions, and mentoring
Ensure academic excellence and spiritual development for students and staff
Personnel & Community Relations
Recruit, train, and evaluate faculty and staff
Encourage collaboration and professional growth
Build strong partnerships with parents and foster a caring community
Represent the school positively within the church and local community
Finance & Facilities
Collaborate with the Board on budget and tuition planning
Ensure responsible financial stewardship and operational efficiency
Coordinate with church operations to maintain safe, high-quality facilities
Governance & Reporting
Provide regular reports and recommendations to the School Board
Ensure compliance with licensing, accreditation, and safety standards
