Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst

The Senior FP&A Analyst reports directly to the Controller and is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, balance sheet analysis, auditing, and other general accounting functions. This role plays a key part in providing accurate and timely financial insights to support strategic decision-making and operational performance.

Specific Responsibilities

Prepare and review all significant financial information provided to operations and corporate management, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Support monthly financial closings, forecast updates, and annual operating budget preparation.

Contribute to special projects, including business case analysis, ad hoc reporting, and financial support for strategic initiatives.

Maintain and evaluate internal control systems through data validation, outlier detection, and variance analysis to ensure data integrity.

Prepare account reconciliations, actively investigate discrepancies, and recommend resolutions.

Generate and analyze accounting-related reports to support management decision-making.

Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities, including journal entry preparation and review.

Analyze and interpret accounting records for use by management in operational and strategic planning.

Provide support to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll as needed.

Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.

Comply with all environmental, health, and safety policies; immediately report unsafe conditions, near-misses, or injuries.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Work Environment -

Full-time, on-site position within a manufacturing facility.

Salary range:

$80,000 – $100,000 , plus bonus.

Comprehensive benefits package including PTO, 401(k), and medical coverage.

Eligibility: .S. Citizenship, Green Card, or Permanent Residency required.
