Base pay range: $17.00/hr - $18.00/hr
Location: 635, Dallas, near Garland
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Summary
Our company is looking for a Receptionist/Assistant with a great personality and appearance who can handle working in the fast‑paced and demanding construction field. You will be the first point of contact for our customers and will play a key role in providing excellent customer service. We are located off 635 in Dallas near Garland.
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming calls and other communications.
- Warmly greet clients and visitors as needed.
- Maintain showroom in a neat appearance and keep supplies stocked; light cleaning will be required.
- Aid with client receptions/meetings as needed.
- Data entry of sales orders, products, and pricing info into our flooring system.
- Track any orders you place and follow up.
- Assist with managing digital price tags for displays.
- Keep up with display samples and order missing ones if needed.
- Update our vendors and/or price list in Excel.
- Help decorate showroom for holidays and/or parties.
- Perform administrative or basic accounting duties as needed.
Requirements
- Experience as a receptionist and office/admin assistant.
- Warm personality with strong communication skills.
- Ability to write clearly with good grammar and punctuation.
- Capable of working efficiently with limited supervision.
- Good computer skills.
- Must have experience with Excel and some experience with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Deadline and detail oriented.
- Presentable business casual dress is a must.
- Be punctual and reliable.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus!
- Previous experience using RFMS (flooring software) is a plus!
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must have stable job history and eagerness to stay with a company and grow.
- Must have reliable transportation.
