Core Financial Tasks:

Recording Transactions:

Accurately entering all financial transactions into the accounting system, including income from patient payments, insurance claims, and other sources, as well as expenses for supplies, equipment, and other costs.

Maintaining Ledgers:

Balancing and maintaining accurate ledgers for bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts.

Accounts Receivable:

Managing the process of collecting payments from patients and insurance companies, including generating invoices and tracking outstanding balances.

Accounts Payable:

Ensuring timely payment of vendor invoices and other expenses.

Bank Reconciliations:

Regularly reconciling bank statements with the practice's financial records to ensure accuracy.

Financial Reporting:

Preparing monthly or other regular financial statements, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
