Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair industrial machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves troubleshooting mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting production uptime.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair all production equipment, both mechanical and electrical.

Conduct advanced PLC troubleshooting using computer software including AB RS Logics and other plant software.

Support the direction of maintenance projects, including new equipment installations and rebuilds.

Demonstrate advanced fabrication skills, including sanitary welds.

Communicate effectively with OEMs, contractors, and other vendors regarding equipment and infrastructure issues.

Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, ammonia, and wastewater breakdowns as applicable.

Lead maintenance technicians in the absence of the maintenance lead or supervisor.

Essential Skills

Proficient in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair.

Experience with preventive maintenance and machine maintenance.

Ability to use hand tools and perform mechanical repairs.

Experience in pneumatics and PLC troubleshooting.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to read blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in food manufacturing is a plus.

Communication and problem-solving skills.

Experience with tape measures and mechanical maintenance.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of South Beloit, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50876.00 - $69243.00/yr.

PTO, health, vision and dental insurance. Life insurance. Short and long term disability.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in South Beloit,IL.
