Base pay range $80,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr
Position Summary The EHS Programs and Systems Coordinator supports the development, implementation, and management of TRP Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) programs, systems, and initiatives. This role focuses on coordinating efforts to prevent incidents, minimize injuries and illnesses, and measure performance across the organization.
Position Overview The coordinator role emphasizes support and coordination of EHS activities, working under the guidance of the EHS Manager. Responsibilities include assisting with EHS frameworks, data collection, training coordination, and promoting a strong safety culture. This role does not carry strategic oversight but plays a critical part in operational execution and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in developing and implementing standardized EHS strategies and processes to improve consistency and effectiveness
Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and support documentation efforts
Coordinate regular inspections of jobsites, equipment, and facilities to identify hazards and ensure safety standards
Support the identification and dissemination of EHS best practices, tools, and training materials
Collect and organize EHS data to monitor performance indicators and support continuous improvement
Coordinate training programs and resources to build EHS competency among employees
Support implementation of innovative solutions and technologies to address EHS challenges
Collaborate with departments such as operations and procurement to align safety standards
Assist in promoting risk assessment and mitigation processes in alignment with regulatory requirements
Essential Job Functions
Basic knowledge of EHS principles and regulatory compliance (OSHA, DOT, MUTCD, EPA)
Ability to support long-term EHS strategies and align with business objectives
Ability to work collaboratively across teams to support behavioral change and safety culture
Basic data analysis and problem‑solving skills to identify improvement opportunities
Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey EHS information and support training
Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives and embedding EHS practices
Benefits
Bachelor's degree in environmental, Health & Safety or related field highly preferred
Minimum 3-5 years of safety experience in the construction industry
Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR) are optional but beneficial
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS-related software and systems
