Thermador Marketing Manager
Irvine, CA / Full-time
Your responsibilities The Marketing Manager is responsible for managing comprehensive Designer-focused marketing initiatives that support, engage and educate the Trade Specifier. The Marketing Manager will lead the Thermador Designer Loyalty Program. This role will encompass program administration, data management, fulfillment agency account management and will be responsible for CRM, nurturing the members and growing the program.
The Marketing Manager will administer the day-to-day management of the Thermador Design Network & VIP Designer Programs. The responsibilities will include directing communication, project collaborations, brand events and creating any relevant communication for editorial engagement.
The Marketing Manager will coordinate Show Houses and Design Showcases working directly with the Designers and individual Show House or publication teams. Developing and managing these and other designer initiatives will include idea creation, brand event planning and organizing, communication pre and post event, measuring and optimizing results against key performance indicators (KPIs) and presenting program overview, key takeaways and results to the marketing and sales organizations.
In addition to managing key designer initiatives, this role will also collaborate and provide essential support with Brand Team operation topics such as procurement, purchasing, marketing calendars, filming scheduling, and onboarding new brand approved vendors such as social media influencers and project collaborators.
Plan, develop & execute marketing initiatives and programs that support our Designer / Trade Specifier
Collaborate with brand team, business units, sales and builder teams to maximize brand exposure and align with brand objectives as it relates to the Trade Specifier
Develop and execute brand activations and branded experiences at Show Houses, Designer Showcases and Designer Events
Work with Sales and Builder teams to identify key market opportunities and key issues as it relates to executing relevant Trade Specifier marketing initiatives
Coordinate Thermador Design Network communication, annual meetings and events
Network at NKBA, AIA, ASID, IDS and other design / trade affiliation meetings / events
Analyze KPIs, metrics and data for Designer Loyalty Program
Partner with Procurement department to source and onboard vendors and ensure compliance with company purchasing policies for all related marketing activities
Optimize, measure and report performance of Trade Specifier marketing activities and campaigns, assess against goals (ROI and KPIs) and iterate / adjust accordingly
Implement brand tactics & activations to support the Brand goals
Brand event planning and execution in accordance to the Marketing Plan, and in collaboration with internal teams and other stakeholders, when applicable
Create content for our Trade Specifier newsletters, communications and / or articles
Management and execution of special projects, as directed
Fully align, collaborate and work under the leadership of the Sr. Marketing Manager on tasks and initiatives
Your profile
Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Business or related field) – Required
3-5 Years of Experience Marketing Manager – Required
3-5 years’ experience as a marketing manager with a proven track record
Critical skills in project management and organization are required to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience within the Trade Specifier Industry (Designer, Architect or Builder) a plus
Creative thinker with a genuine passion for the home design and luxury goods industry
Experience in home / kitchen design, a plus
Ability to create, implement and superbly execute brand and marketing initiatives start-to-finish
Ability to think outside the box and bring creative ideas to the team
Possesses an entrepreneurial mindset with a proven ability to identify high-impact opportunities and drive growth through resourceful, hands-on execution
Ability to quickly turn insights into effective programs to capture opportunities
Self-starter who can effectively work in a fast-paced environment, work through and manage change / ambiguity, with an appropriate sense of urgency
Highly organized and detail oriented with impeccable follow-through
Ability to engage and influence the organization
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a talent for building and maintaining professional relationships
Team player with high level of collaboration across all departments
Ability to use analytical skills to identify challenges & opportunities
Knowledge & experience in the measurement of marketing campaigns
Knowledge of budget management skills and proficiency is a must
Experience managing external agencies or vendors is a plus
Travel % = 10%
Your Pay & Benefits The pay range posted for this position is based on the location noted in the posting title. Exact compensation offered may vary based on your specific skillset and work location. If the position is bonus or incentive eligible then the payments range from 0% to 200% of target with details laid out within the plan document.
