What You’ll Do
Serve as the principal authority on design system and platform‑level experiences, driving quality, consistency, and velocity across all FloQast products.
Act as domain expert and owner for critical, system‑wide experiences such as in‑app notifications, global navigation, and page architectures, ensuring a unified and consistent user journey across all product lines.
Translate complex AI capabilities and enterprise requirements into intuitive, high‑trust, and scalable experiences across the platform.
Own the strategic vision, roadmap, and execution for the Flow UI Design System, driving its transformation, updates, and rollout.
Influence engineering architecture by partnering directly with Front‑End Engineering Leads and Leadership to ensure technical soundness and maintainability.
Establish processes and governance to maximize the impact and adoption of the design system across all product and engineering teams, accelerating design and development velocity.
Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering Leadership to define the product roadmap for Flow UI and design debt, proactively identifying opportunities for platform‑level standardization and improvement.
Mentor and coach designers across the organization in system thinking, design system best practices, quality execution, and cross‑functional leadership.
Set and enforce the highest bar for design quality, consistency, and accessibility across the entire platform through documentation and rigorous component review.
What You’ll Bring
7+ years of professional experience designing and shipping high‑quality, complex SaaS or enterprise products at scale, with a significant track record of organizational impact.
Expert mastery over the entire design systems lifecycle, including governance, component architecture, and documentation.
Technical fluency in front‑end development (React, HTML/CSS) sufficient to influence implementation decisions and build strong partnerships with engineering leaders.
Experience ensuring design decisions are implemented consistently in code through Design Token Management tools such as Figma Tokens or Style Dictionary.
Familiarity with developer workflows including Version Control (Git/GitHub), component distribution via Package Management, and front‑end framework structures.
Prioritization of system quality assurance and comprehensive documentation, with experience using Storybook and QA tools.
A world‑class portfolio demonstrating exceptional systems thinking and visual/inter‑action design on large‑scale platform interfaces.
Proven leadership in launching new product foundations and shipping initiatives from 0‑1, including defining foundational, system‑wide user experiences.
Advanced proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma and AI‑powered design acceleration tools.
Strategic collaboration and organizational influencing skills, with a proven ability to articulate and defend design rationale to executive leadership.
Strong research skills, using qualitative user research and quantitative data to inform system priorities and adoption success.
