Act as a principal force in defining the future trajectory of the FloQast platform, focusing on high‑leveraged problems across multiple product areas and delivering the next generation of seamlessly embedded AI capabilities across the product suite. Lead the long‑term design vision and strategy for major, cross‑functional product domains, ensuring alignment with company objectives and driving significant business impact. Translate complex AI capabilities and enterprise requirements into intuitive, high‑trust, and scalable experiences that remove adoption barriers and deliver groundbreaking value to accounting teams. Partner closely with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership to define the product roadmap and architecture, contributing a deep, user‑centered perspective that proactively identifies and scopes opportunities for platform‑level improvements. Set the bar for design quality across the entire platform and guide the evolution of the design system, establishing standards and patterns that ensure consistency, usability, and technical feasibility across multiple design teams. Design and lead high‑impact research initiatives that deepen the organization’s understanding of our users’ unmet needs, leveraging qualitative and quantitative data to inform strategic product decisions. Own execution on the most complex, ambiguous projects, driving them to completion while mentoring and coaching other designers in strategy, execution, technical feasibility, and cross‑functional leadership. Proactively influence stakeholders across the organization, effectively communicating complex design problems, rationale, and solutions to executive leadership and large cross‑functional teams. You possess a deep professional history in enterprise product design with 7+ years of experience designing and shipping high‑quality, complex SaaS or enterprise products at scale. You maintain a world‑class portfolio that demonstrates exceptional strategic thinking, interaction design, and visual polish on large‑scale data applications, complex workflows, or platform‑level tooling. You are a proven leader in creating and shipping new platform components, successfully leading initiatives from 0‑1 that became core components of the platform. You demonstrate mastery of core design tools and influence design systems, mastering Figma and contributing to robust design systems used by multiple teams. You are fluent in accelerating design through modern, intelligent tools, leveraging AI‑powered tools such as Figma Make, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc., to accelerate knowledge, quality, collaboration, and delivery. You possess expert knowledge in designing intelligent, AI‑driven experiences, establishing appropriate user controls, building trust, translating complex models into clear user value, and addressing ethical implications. You have exceptional strategic collaboration and organizational influencing skills, articulating and defending design rationale to executive leadership across product, design, and engineering.
