$1,500 seasonal contract, paid in three monthly installments of $500

$3,000 court maintenance (optional), paid in three monthly installments of $1,000

$750 general court maintenance beginning and end of year

Percentage from adult and junior programs as well as private

May 18, 2026 - September 11, 2026 with potential for renewal

About Us Farmington Bath and Tennis is a vibrant, family-focused tennis and swim club where members of all ages come together to play, connect, and enjoy the outdoors. Nestled in a beautiful setting, our club features four Har-Tru clay courts as well as two hard courts. Farmington offers a wide variety of tennis programs for both juniors and adults—including lessons, leagues, and fun social events that bring the whole community together.

to lead and grow our tennis programs for the 2026 season. It’s a great opportunity for someone who loves working with both kids and adults—and who’s excited to really make the program their own. If you’ve got fresh ideas, a positive attitude, and a love for building community through tennis, this could be the perfect fit.

Responsibilities Instruction & Program Development

Lead adult and junior tennis programs

Design fun, challenging programs for players of all levels

Organize social and competitive play (round robins, mixers, etc.) with tennis committee

Provide coaching feedback and track player progress

Pickleball Instruction (Preferred, Not Required)

Ability to teach beginner to intermediate pickleball programs is a plus

Court Maintenance

Assist with overseeing daily clay court maintenance to ensure optimal playing conditions (optional)

Coordinate with the Farmington tennis committee on pre-season court preparation, in-season maintenance and end-of-season winterizing

Maintain and oversee use of tennis equipment, including court nets, windscreens, and ball machine

Leadership & Communication

Serve as a welcoming and professional representative of the club

Enforce facility rules and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for all members

Communicate schedules and programming details with members and parents

Assist with hiring and coordination of any additional teaching staff or assistants

Qualifications

USPTA, PTR, or USTA Coaching certification

NTRP Rating of at least 4.0 or equivalent and be able to demonstrate skills effectively

Abuse Prevention certified or willing to become certified prior to hiring

Comfort coaching players of all ages and abilities

Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills

Passion for racquet sports and fostering a positive, community-oriented environment
