Job Overview
As a Therapist, I provide evidence-informed treatment to strengthen family relationships, enhance overall well-being, and promote home stability. I offer therapy, education, advocacy, and resource linkages to support improved individual and family functioning while co-facilitating group sessions for parents, children, and families. Additionally, I collaborate closely with colleagues, DCP&P, and community partners, maintaining thorough documentation in line with program and agency standards.
Program Info
Keeping Families Together provides both short and long-term supportive housing for high risk families who have a current or ongoing history of homelessness, with children at risk of removal or soon to be reunified. The program provides housing resource specialty, case management, therapy and support groups to families who receive either a program-based or rental assistant voucher.
Key Responsibilities: Provide therapy, education, support, advocacy and linkages to improve functioning. Co-facilitate groups for parents, children and families Work collaboratively with your KFT peers, DCP&P and community service providers Complete documentation consistent with program and agency requirements. Requirements:
Master's degree in counseling, social work or a related field Strong engaging, communication and collaboration skills Professionalism, ethics and a commitment to excellence in care An understanding of trauma, loss, substance abuse, domestic violence, child abuse and neglect, mental health issues Must demonstrate initiative, creativity, reliability and the ability to work well independently Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, use of an insured vehicle and an acceptable driving record Preferred:
Experience working with DCP&P involved families preferred. Additional Information:
Base Salary: $59,000 Sign-On Bonus: $750 Salary differential: $3,120 for bilingual staff What we provide:
