Overview As a Night Auditor, you will support the hotel’s operations by overseeing nightly audits, ensuring compliance with security protocols, handling guest requests, and maintaining the hotel’s cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The role requires a strong focus on hospitality, communication, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Complete all hotel audit‑related reports on time and submit them via the overnight checklist.

Maintain security by following protocol—locking exterior entrances, handling late‑arriving guests, and responding to safety or security issues.

Manage incoming mail: receive and document all incoming mail as required by the daily shift checklist.

Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay, using their names to create a welcoming environment.

Handle challenging guest situations with professionalism, hospitality, and a sense of urgency.

Maintain spotless cleanliness and safety across front and back of house, assisting with room and public space cleaning when needed.

Use hotel technology (POS, PMS, phone systems) effectively and follow all approved greetings for phone etiquette.

Complete checklists to 100% accuracy and ensure shift hand‑over reports are accurate and timely.

Wear a clean, approved uniform, wear a nametag, and maintain professional grooming according to the Team Member Handbook.

Communicate clearly and honestly with teammates and supervisors to support a positive workplace.

Demonstrate a can‑do attitude, willingness to stretch beyond traditional role, and collaboration at all levels.

Qualifications & Requirements

Preferred experience in hospitality, consumer‑facing franchise, or related field.

Positive, can‑do attitude and willingness to learn.

Ability to follow established guidelines and procedures.

Strong ability to handle pace and pressure—work well in stressful, high‑pressure situations.

Effective listening, conflict resolution, and communication skills.

Desire to serve guests with excellent hospitality.

Age 18 + years.

Willingness to work a varied schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Dependable clock‑in/out and break compliance; never work off‑clock.

Provide sufficient notice when calling out for a scheduled shift.

Physical & Working Conditions

Stand or remain stationary for 3‑4 hours at a time.

Type, operate computers, use 10‑key, data entry, dial phones, and manipulate tools.

Bend, stoop, squat, lift and transport supplies up to 25 lbs throughout the hotel.

Inspect and observe details at close and long range.

Noise level moderate (phone ringing, communication between staff and customers).

Language & Reasoning Skills English: read, write, understand, and communicate effectively.
