The Encore Boston Harbor Promotions Manager – Promotions will oversee the daily operations of the Promotions Department. Salary Pay: $79,000.00 – $95,000.00. Responsibilities
Ensure all Encore standards and core values are implemented across the department. Manage short‑ and long‑term departmental goals, policies, and operating procedures; evaluate operational effectiveness and implement improvement changes. Oversee departmental performance, accuracy and confidentiality of policies and procedures; record and report data. Manage performance and development of team members within the department. Monitors all activities to enforce internal policies, federal, state laws, rules, regulations and controls. Deliver and maintain maximum level of property‑wide service and satisfaction. Facilitate communication throughout the property by organizing and presiding over regular meetings with department team members and with other departments. Create and distribute promotional and event‑related materials including fact sheets, regulatory communications, guest‑facing details, team schedules and support documents. Assist in execution of events and promotions: kiosk builds, testing, prize/award paperwork, communication with other departments. Coordinate with other departments to ensure collateral, signage, decorations, and other materials for promotions and events are on brand and displayed correctly. Responsible for hiring, performance management and employee engagement within the department; provide training opportunities and create a motivating environment. Determine staffing needs for special events and promotions and create monthly schedules. Stay informed on department developments and make recommendations designed to maximize department and company success. Qualifications
21 years of age or above. Obtained or will obtain registration or a license issued by the Massachusetts Gaming Commission. High school degree or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience required. Minimum 5 years of managing and leading a team of 5 or more in a corporate setting; two years of casino experience preferred. Knowledge of gaming systems such as IGT Patron Management and Everi Power Kiosk Management Systems is a plus. Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with planning and project management in a fast‑paced, high‑output environment. Ability to manage multiple priorities with similar deadlines and maintain consistent execution. Outstanding organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail. Fluency in English required; second language a plus. Physical Demands
Moderate physical ability such as lift or maneuver at least thirty (30) pounds. Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. Occasional reaching with hands and arms, sitting, climbing or balancing and stoop, stretch, bend, kneel, crouch or crawl may be required. Work Environment
