Job Details JUA is a new wood‑fired Korean restaurant in the Flatiron District. The restaurant is the first project by former Executive Chef Hoyoung Kim, formerly of Three‑Michelin‑Starred Jungsik. We are looking for passionate and dedicated hospitality professionals.

We are accepting resumes for the following position:

Sous Chef

Qualifications and Requirements

Advanced knife handling skills

Menu/recipe development

Understanding of Department of Health Food Safety Standards

Food cost optimization

Punctuality is a must

Ability to lead a team successfully in a culture‑driven environment, including staff education, family meal, and strong communication skills

Strong organizational skills

Team‑oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn

At least 4 years of experience in casual and fine dining

A strong sense of urgency and work ethic

Ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure and being respectful

Flexible schedule is required

Knowledge of Korean cuisine is a plus
