About TCGplayer TCGplayer connects hobbyists and hobby businesses to communities. As part of eBay, we promote growth by providing a compelling destination and tools for collectible card game enthusiasts and professional sellers.

About the Catalog Operations Department The department ensures the online catalog contains the most robust product information. We source, ingest, enrich, create, and enhance catalog content across our platform, supporting sales through websites, mobile apps, and the TCGplayer Marketplace.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage product updates aligned with manufacturers’ release schedules.

Sourcing, cleaning, merging, and transforming metadata from structured and unstructured data sources.

Deliver timely catalog updates and maintain accurate metadata across categories.

Leverage automated tools to optimize workflows and improve operations efficiency.

Provide proactive insights, identify challenges, and develop innovative solutions.

Support inquiries from retailers, colleagues, and customers.

Provide operational guidance to Creative Services, Marketing, and Partnership teams.

Write and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for specialized categories.

Manage highly sensitive embargoed information with strict confidentiality.

Qualifications

Experience in the collectibles and hobby gaming industry, such as trading card games.

Knowledge of retail and collectibles field practices.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience collaborating with creative teams in a fast‑paced environment.

2–4 years of catalog operations experience in a high‑volume technology, gaming, or hobby industry.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and Slack.

Compensation Base pay range: $34,800 – $61,400.

Compensation may include a target bonus and restricted stock units. Employees receive full benefits including medical, financial, and paid time off.
