ITS provides operational support to state agencies on a 24x7x365 basis; some positions may be required to provide this critical service at any time. Duties
Coding, testing, debugging and maintenance activities for Microsoft Dynamics Applications and related development tools/technologies using VB.NET, C#, Java Script, Team Foundation Server, etc. Research, configuration, and development work for PRJ0251751 - Upgrading 7 OCFS applications from MS Dynamics CRM 2015 to Dynamics 365 v 9.1 On‑premises, and upgrading 3 integrated SharePoint Sites from SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint Subscription Edition. Technical research and implementation of upgrades, compatible technologies, new tools and components and linking them in with the existing platforms. Developing and maintaining SQL‑based CRM Reports with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Working as part of the broader CONNECTIONS development team performing technical activities related to writing and integrating application code using WCF, WPF and .NET and testing modules and components. Minimum Qualifications
One year of permanent competitive services as an Information Technology Specialist 3 OR in a position at G‑21 or higher deemed administrative under Section 52.6 of Civil Service Law OR in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of Civil Service Law. The transfer cannot be a second consecutive transfer resulting in advancement of more than two salary grades. Note: If you are on the examination eligible list for the position title in this location, you do not need to respond to this posting unless you are also eligible for appointment by one of the qualifications listed above. Candidates must be reachable on the current eligible list for this title in order to be list appointed. Additional Comments
ITS will not offer permanent employment to any candidate unless the candidate provides documentation that they are authorized to accept work in the United States on a permanent basis. Some positions may require fingerprinting. Some positions may require up to 25% travel and/or lifting up to 50 lbs. Some positions are pending Civil Service approval. If eligible, positions located in New York City will receive an additional $3,400 downstate adjustment location pay with regular annual salary.
