Position Associate Attorney - Commercial Litigation
We are seeking a skilled Associate Attorney to join our Commercial Litigation team. This role involves managing complex business disputes and contributing to all phases of litigation, from case development to resolution, in a collaborative and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Handle a variety of commercial litigation matters from start to finish.
Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
Participate in depositions, hearings, and trial preparations.
Work closely with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and negotiate settlements.
Maintain strong communication with clients and opposing counsel while managing multiple active cases.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited institution.
Active license to practice law and in good standing within the state.
2-5 years of experience in commercial or business litigation.
Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Proficient in legal research tools and litigation management software.
Preferred Background
Experience handling cases in both state and federal courts.
Exposure to contract and shareholder disputes, business torts, or construction litigation.
Familiarity with e-discovery processes and courtroom procedures.
Judicial clerkship experience is advantageous.
