Tax Accountant
Responsibilities: Preparation of Individual, Partnership, C and S corporation and Trust returns using Lacerte software. Support clients year-round with tax planning and advisory services. Assist with bookkeeping, and financial statements using QBO. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. Conduct research and provide solutions for client accounting and tax questions. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA candidate preferred). 1–3 years of public accounting or related experience is a plus (but motivated entry-level candidates are welcome). Strong work ethic and a positive, “can-do” attitude. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite. Comfortable working in a small, growth oriented office.
