$90,000 – $115,000 About the Role
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, an effective communicator, and capable of driving process improvements while maintaining strong partner relationships. Key Responsibilities
Build and standardize a consolidated retail accounts receivable function. Manage daily operations of the AR department, ensuring timely reporting and collections. Monitor national retail accounts for non-payments, short-payments, or other irregularities. Follow up on outstanding balances and resolve discrepancies promptly. Reconcile and analyze AR general ledger balances monthly. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure efficient processes. Lead and mentor a geographically diverse team, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities. Provide weekly reporting on AR status and action plans for aged balances. Design and maintain internal controls to manage financial risk. Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications & Experience
5–7+ years of accounts receivable experience (including weekly aging reports, national retail contracts, reconciliations, and collections). Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business (or equivalent experience). Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and regulations. Experience leading process transformations and implementing change. Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and lead teams through organizational change. Experience building collaborative, high-performance team cultures.
