Assistant Moving Center Manager
At U-Haul we’re looking for a dynamic leader to step into the role of Assistant Moving Center Manager. You’ll be the backbone of daily center operations, thriving in a fast‑paced environment and driving customer satisfaction through effective teamwork and strategic decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily operations in the General Manager’s absence.
Make timely decisions on resource allocation across tasks and projects.
Assign and mentor team members to ensure first‑class customer interactions.
Handle miscellaneous tasks such as installing hitches, brake controllers, and other equipment.
Participate in ongoing U‑Haul education programs through U‑Haul University.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Leadership experience in any capacity.
Customer service experience.
Ability to work a variety of shifts.
Work Environment The work involves moderate risks or discomforts that may require protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields. Safety precautions are essential.
Physical Demands Tasks include long periods of both indoor and outdoor standing, traversing space, repositioning to use tools, and moving or lifting a minimum of 50 lbs. (Assisted or unassisted).
