Struct & Payload Design Engr (Payload Systems Design)
At Boeing, the 787 Monuments Team within Boeing Commercial Aircraft Payloads Organization seeks Associate and Mid Level Engineers to join our team in Everett, WA. The Payloads Organization manages everything that appears in flight including interior, cargo, exterior markings, associated systems, and cabin safety. Monument Engineers are responsible for managing integration of multiple supplier designed products into our aircrafts, overseeing galleys, lavatories, and other equipment designs to meet all customer, regulatory, and Boeing requirements.
Responsibilities
Manage integration of multiple supplier designed products into aircraft by overseeing galleys, lavatories, and other equipment designs.
Work with diverse stakeholders, communicate with executive leadership and customers worldwide, and lead/influence technical teams to coordinate work and resolve emergent issues.
Coordinate with suppliers, customers, sales, supplier management, engineering teams, regulatory administrators, and manufacturing teams.
Support multiple engineering projects in a dynamic demanding environment.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor of Science or greater in engineering from an accredited institution.
2+ years of engineering experience in design, integration, and/or certification or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years related work experience or equivalent education/experience.
Experience supporting a cross‑functional team.
Ability to use a variety of media to clearly convey information and ideas to a variety of audiences.
Experience in aerospace interiors, materials and properties, design criteria and release processes.
Demonstrates good problem‑solving skills and critical thinking.
Demonstrated interest in continuous personal learning and development.
Location and Relocation This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
