The
Videographer
will play a key role in shaping the visual identity of City Lifestyle through dynamic, story-driven video content. This role is perfect for someone who can do it all—concept, shoot, edit, and deliver polished, high-impact video across a variety of formats and channels.
You’ll collaborate closely with the Director of Brand and Content and the marketing team to capture the energy, beauty, and personality of our brand, franchise network, and community stories.
Primary Responsibilities Content Creation & Production
Film and produce high-quality video content including podcast interviews and studio sessions, franchisee testimonials and brand stories, hype videos for product launches, campaigns, and events, marketing and social media videos that elevate the brand.
Manage the full production process—from concept to final edit—ensuring all videos align with the City Lifestyle aesthetic and tone.
Capture both in‑studio and on‑location footage using professional lighting and sound equipment.
Edit and color‑grade video footage to create polished, cinematic results.
Incorporate motion graphics, text overlays, and branded elements.
Select music, audio, and pacing that enhance storytelling and emotional impact.
Maintain organized file management and consistent post‑production workflows.
Collaboration & Brand Alignment
Work directly with the Director of Brand and Content to interpret creative briefs and develop concepts.
Ensure video content reflects the brand’s luxury lifestyle positioning across all platforms.
Partner with marketing, social media, and franchise development teams to create video assets that support recruiting, advertising, and storytelling goals.
Skills & Traits
Proven ability to shoot, light, and record high‑quality video and audio independently.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software.
Strong understanding of composition, color, and brand visual style.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Experience creating content for both long‑form storytelling and short‑form digital/social platforms.
A creative eye, collaborative spirit, and passion for visual storytelling.
The desire to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to adapt to growth within our rapidly expanding company. Self‑initiated initiative is greatly desired.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
Job Requirements
3–5+ years of experience in videography, production, and editing (agency, media, or brand‑side experience preferred).
Residence in Kansas City, MO is required.
Full‑time, in‑office.
Average physical demands associated with working with video equipment.
Driving to shoots as requested.
Potential travel to conferences or local franchise locations to get footage.
