solving your hiring challenges in Financial Research and Information across EMEA, the US and Asia for 17 years Why This Role is Different

This is a greenfield opportunity disguised as an established business. Our client's North American sales team has only been in place for 9 months, which means you're getting in at the ground floor of massive growth potential with the backing of a proven global organisation (1,800+ employees, 1,000+ clients managing $10+ trillion in AUM).

What Makes This Compelling:

While they specialise in Private Equity and Hedge Funds, you can sell to a range of investment firms. Your territory is as big as your ambition.

Highly competitive base salary + uncapped commission structure

Equity participation

– you'll own a piece of what you're building

Clear path to leadership as they scale

Brand new offices in New York and London (they're serious about North American expansion)

Full support from their global delivery team of 1,800+ professionals across Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Singapore, and London

Riding the AI Wave

They just closed a

seven-figure deal

with a leading AI platform provider

They're becoming

'the tech stack'

for emerging managers who don't have time to research AI best practices

Their value proposition: "Don't worry about researching all of that – work with us, and we'll be both the tech and the human in the loop"

This positioning is resonating incredibly well and differentiates them from pure offshore providers

They recently launched a next-generation technology platform purpose-built for alternative investing

AI integration is a major competitive advantage and sales accelerator right now

Proven Concept, Room to Run

A candidate we placed 6 months ago in this exact role is crushing it

The playbook works - now they need to replicate it

You'll be joining a small, high-performing team with direct access to leadership

About Our Client

Our client is a global leader in providing high-end outsourced services for Private Equity firms, Hedge Funds, Asset Managers, and Corporates. They deliver specialised support across:

Business Development Services (CRM management, lead generation, market intelligence)

CFO Office Services (fund administration, accounting)

They operate at the intersection of human expertise and cutting‑edge technology, enabling their clients to focus on their core business while they handle complex operational and analytical workflows.

The Role

As

Sales Specialist (EVP) , you'll own the full sales cycle for comprehensive outsourced services across North America, targeting Middle Office, Operations, CFO Office, and C‑suite decision‑makers at alternative asset managers and institutional investors.

What You'll Do:

Drive new business development across Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Venture Capital, and Asset Management firms.

Manage the entire sales lifecycle from prospecting and lead generation through contract negotiation and closing.

Build and manage a pipeline of complex, high‑value engagements (typical deals: $200K - $2M+ ACV)

Partner with VP‑led delivery teams to develop bespoke solutions for client needs

Strategic Growth

Identify and penetrate new verticals and market segments (they're expanding beyond their PE/HF core)

Leverage the AI/technology story to differentiate against pure offshore providers.

Position the company as a strategic partner, not just a cost‑saving vendor.

Contribute to the development of the North American go‑to‑market strategy

Relationship Management

Build C‑suite relationships with COOs, CFOs, CTOs, and Heads of Operations

Navigate complex stakeholder environments and multi‑decision‑maker sales processes

Maintain deep understanding of client operational challenges and market trends

Represent the company at industry conferences and networking events

What You Bring

Must‑Haves:

Extensive B2B sales experience

in financial services, specifically selling to Middle Office, Operations, or CFO Office functions at institutional asset managers

Proven track record

of consistently exceeding quota (120%+ preferred) in complex sales environments

Deep expertise

in fund administration, middle/back office outsourcing, operational technology, or related solutions

Established network

within the Private Equity, Hedge Fund, and/or Asset Management community

Located in or willing to relocate to

the New York Metropolitan Area

Consultative sales approach

with ability to navigate C‑suite relationships and complex organisational structures

Ideal Background:

Experience in sales at fund administration/operations solutions providers

What Sets You Apart:

You've sold operational solutions (not just front‑office/investment tools) to institutional clients

You understand the pain points of middle/back office teams at alternative asset managers

You can articulate the value of offshore/nearshore models and navigate client concerns

You're comfortable with long, complex sales cycles (3‑9+ months)

You're entrepreneurial and thrive in a fast‑growth, build‑it‑yourself environment

Why Join Now?

This is your chance to be

one of the first sales hires on a team

that's already proving the model works, with the full resources of a 1,800‑person global organisation behind you. You'll have:

Autonomy

to build your territory and approach

Support

from proven delivery teams and a growing product suite

Upside

through equity and early leadership opportunities as they scale

Momentum

with a compelling AI/technology story that's closing deals

If you've been successful in selling operational solutions to asset managers but feel like you've hit a ceiling, or if you're at a larger organisation and want more entrepreneurial impact, this is your opportunity.
