Base pay range $170,000.00/yr - $190,000.00/yr

In this role, you would be responsible for driving growth across government and commercial accounts, using your technical background—ideally in RF or microwave technologies—in a consultative sales capacity. It’s a great opportunity to combine your engineering expertise with a customer-facing leadership role, reporting directly to the Head of Sales and Marketing.

This role would be titled as a regional sales manager and would be an individual contributor role where you would be tasked with driving new business development.

Description

Drive bookings growth by identifying, qualifying, and capturing new business opportunities within assigned territories or accounts.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while proactively pursuing new customers and markets.

Execute customer engagement strategies to position the company’s RF/microwave solutions—including IMAs, frequency synthesizers, low-noise components, and space-grade RF hardware.

Lead the sales process from opportunity identification through contract award—including pipeline management, bid and proposal development, and contract negotiation.

Utilize CRM tools to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of contacts, opportunities, and bookings forecasts.

Recommend capture strategies for key opportunities to maximize win probability and long-term market share.

Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, operations, contracts, and leadership) to align solutions with customer requirements and ensure successful proposal submissions.

Monitor the competitive landscape and market trends; communicate insights to leadership to inform strategic planning.

Prepare regular reports on sales activities, market developments, customer feedback, and competitor actions.

Represent the company at industry events, tradeshows, and customer meetings to promote brand visibility and generate leads.

Support the achievement of regional and corporate bookings, revenue, and profitability goals.

Manage sales expenses effectively in alignment with company budgets and guidelines.

Profile

Bachelor’s degree required; technical discipline (Engineering, Physics, or related) preferred.

5+ years of experience in technical sales and marketing of engineered products in the defense or aerospace. Experience in RF/microwave components, subsystems, or systems preferred.

Proven track record of developing customer relationships and securing new business in highly engineered product markets.

Strong understanding of sales processes, opportunity qualification, pipeline management, and contract negotiation.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft effective proposals, presentations, and business correspondence.

Ability to interact effectively with customers, regulatory agencies, and senior leadership.

Ability to travel regularly to meet with customers and attend key industry events.

Proficiency with CRM systems and sales forecasting tools.

Job Offer

Competitive salary ranging from $170,000 to $190,000 USD.

Uncapped Commission.

Ability to travel nationally up to 60%.
