Our client's microwave division is renowned for its expertise in RF and microwave technologies, supporting critical missions with integrated microwave assemblies, GPS subsystems, and space-qualified components that are trusted by leading defense and aerospace original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
Overview We’re seeking an experienced RF Design Engineer Lead to architect and develop cutting‑edge RF, Microwave, and Millimeter‑Wave integrated solutions (IMAs) for mission-critical defense and space systems. This is a hands‑on engineering role with responsibility across proposal, design, prototyping, testing and production release.
Position Responsibilities
Architect and design end-to-end RF and mixed-signal systems (VHF to >40 GHz), including up/down converters, synthesizers, PLLs, mixers, filters, A/D converters and Digital architectures
Model and simulate RF system performance using advanced analytical tools
Support system integration, testing, and validation of high-reliability hardware for space flight and defense applications
Translate customer specifications into hardware architecture, design documentation, and product releases
Qualifications 7+ years of experience in RF/microwave/mmWave design; strong grasp of RF systems architecture and circuit design
Familiarity ADS, AWR, HFSS, MATLAB, and Mechanical modeling applications
Experience with hardware design from concept through production delivery
BS in Electrical Engineering required; MS or PhD preferred
Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level
