Summary of Position Midwest Hose is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Representative / Account Manager to join our growing industrial distribution team. This position is responsible for marketing, promoting, and profitably selling industrial hose, hydraulic hose, fittings, and related products to existing and potential customers in industries such as oil & gas, manufacturing, construction, and energy services.

The ideal candidate has strong customer service and sales experience in a fast-paced industrial environment, with a proven ability to build long-term customer relationships and meet sales goals.

Roles and Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with customers in the industrial, oilfield, and energy sectors

Manage inside sales and order processing for industrial hose assemblies, fittings, and fluid transfer products

Provide technical product support, quoting, and pricing for customer orders

Identify new sales opportunities through lead follow-up, cold calling, and customer outreach

Coordinate with Outside Sales Representatives to grow accounts and ensure excellent service

Track sales performance and customer interactions through CRM systems

Maintain strong product knowledge of industrial hose, hydraulic systems, and fluid power solutions

Process orders accurately in compliance with company policies and procedures

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through professional communication and prompt issue resolution

Collaborate with team members to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets

Prepare reports and communicate sales trends to management

Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-friendly sales environment

Support warehouse and counter sales operations as needed

Perform any other duties as assigned to support branch operations

Qualifications and Requirements

Previous inside sales, account management, or customer service experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or oilfield environment

Prior hose industry or hydraulic products experience highly preferred

Strong knowledge of industrial hose assemblies, fittings, and fluid transfer systems preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and CRM or ERP systems

Reliable, self‑motivated, and results‑oriented

Team player with a positive and professional attitude

Commitment to excellent customer service and relationship building

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED (required)

Some college or technical coursework (preferred)

2+ years of industrial sales or oilfield supply experience (preferred)

Prior hose and fittings sales experience (highly preferred)
