compassionate, skilled, and licensed Acupuncturist

with a strong foundation in

herbal medicine

to provide holistic, patient-centered care. Our clinic offers a serene, fully equipped environment and a supportive team of collaborative health professionals dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal well-being.

Position Details

Part-time

(up to 30 hours/week) Flexible scheduling Competitive pay

three treatment rooms

and see approximately

two patients per hour

(with support)

Core Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient intakes, assessing history, symptoms, and lifestyle Perform physical assessments and design individualized treatment plans Clearly explain procedures and obtain informed consent Administer acupuncture and adjunct therapies (ear seeds, cupping, moxibustion, Gua Sha, electrostimulation, etc.) Provide holistic guidance, including herbal, dietary, and supplement recommendations—discussing benefits, risks, and interactions Educate patients on self-care practices such as breathing, posture, exercise, and mindfulness Document treatments and progress accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) Monitor outcomes and adjust treatments to ensure optimal results Collaborate with other healthcare providers, integrating knowledge of Western medicine when appropriate Refer patients for medical evaluation when conditions fall outside your scope of practice

Qualifications

Credentialed with TriWest, Medi-Cal /CenCal, and/or Worker Compensation strongly preferred Master’s degree

in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (or equivalent) Current California Acupuncture License

and

malpractice insurance Proficient in cupping, moxibustion, Gua Sha, and electrostimulation Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to foster a calm, therapeutic environment Experience or formal training in herbal medicine or Functional Medicine strongly preferred Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a busy, multi-room setting Passion for holistic healing, education, and integrative care Facial acupuncture experience a plus (but not required) Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
