The SVP will be instrumental in shaping and executing a progressive team strategy that aligns with the organization's long-term goals and core values. This includes overseeing all HR functions such as strategic workforce planning, recruitment, talent development, coaching, employee engagement, and organizational design. The successful candidate will be a culture champion, ensuring the company attracts, retains, and develops top talent while fostering a purpose-driven, high-performance culture. Key responsibilities for the SVP include leading the design and execution of enterprise-wide talent strategies, serving as a trusted advisor on organizational health and change management, and driving data-informed HR planning. The role also involves full-cycle recruitment, fostering a culture of coaching and continuous training, and ensuring compliance with employment regulations. Candidates for the SVP position should have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification, and a minimum of 8 years' experience in a financial institution, including managing HR functions and labor laws for California employees. The role requires a leader with a strong background in talent development, at least 3 years of experience in overseeing payroll, and previous multi-state experience. The SVP will be responsible for leading HR technology strategy and digital transformation initiatives, and must be adept at driving operational efficiency across various HR functions.
