Akkodis is seeking an Automated Technician for a direct job with a client in Rochester, NY. Must hold a High School Diploma to be considered for this position. You will develop and implement advanced maintenance strategies. Independently evaluates, recommends enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness. Expected to independently propose solutions to problems for manager review.
Rate Range: $55/k. to $75/k. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Automated Technician job responsibilities include:
Lead maintenance teams for small-scale projects.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Evaluate and recommend improvements to maintenance processes.
Mentor and train less experienced technicians. Explains practices, procedures and policies.
Reviews work product.
Responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and training (technical and operational) to other employees within job area.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
Plan and execute small-scale capital projects.
Conduct thorough root cause analysis and lead problem-solving efforts.
Follow SOPs diligently and contribute to their development and revision.
Develop and optimize detailed work instructions and job plans
Desired Qualifications:
High School Diploma is required.
Minimum Five years related experience.
Significant experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, vision, PLC, and robotics systems.
In-depth knowledge of maintenance management systems.
Advanced skills in root cause analysis methodologies such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, FMEA, and Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA).
