Amentum is seeking an
Industrial Security Specialist III
to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and Office of Security (SIS) in Springfield, VA. Responsibilities include: Create and review DoD task order Security Classification Specification (DD Form 254) or successor forms, providing feedback, updates, and reviews as needed. Manage communication channels such as secure and unclassified customer service phone lines and email accounts, responding promptly to requests for assistance or information. Plan and conduct Customer Assistance Visits (CAVs) to CONUS industrial partner locations performing classified work off-site, observing physical security measures, and providing security guidance. Process and track Facility Clearance and National Interest Determination packages upon request. Draft, review, and analyze CAV trip reports, coordinate with NGA and external agencies, and provide technical expertise on physical, personnel, information, and operations security. Maintain and update internal NGA security policies, SOPs, program briefings, and instructional materials. Create and manage a security reference library, including printed and electronic materials. Provide content for taskers, reports, meetings, and other engagements as needed. Represent Industrial Security in presentations, briefings, and training sessions. Coordinate with NGA and external agencies to gather information, develop solutions, and communicate guidance. Attend security conferences, webinars, and training to enhance knowledge and ensure NISPOM compliance. Use databases and web tools such as NISS, NCCS, PeopleSoft, Sam.gov, and DISS to validate security information. Maintain and update security records, including electronic and hardcopy documentation. Create and deliver briefings on various security subjects. Requirements: TS/SCI clearance and willingness to undergo a polygraph exam. 3-5 years of experience with the 32 CFR Part 117, National Security Program. Ability to travel up to 25% within the U.S. for CAV inspections. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC).
