To support research programming and analytic activities for principal investigators and their project teams at The Dartmouth Institute using administrative claims datasets and other supporting data that will eventually lead to the publication of health services and economics research work, presentations, and grant proposals. Description:

The Research Programmer/Analyst II will join a dynamic, interdisciplinary team at The Dartmouth Institute focused on primary care and policies nationally using large claims datasets, surveys, electronic health record data, and qualitative data to conduct innovative mixed methods research. We seek applicants with experience working with large datasets to join our team to inform patient-, healthcare system, and policy-relevant research.

Bachelors plus 3-5 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Bachelors degree in Public Health, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in programming/analytics. Demonstrated experience writing algorithms and implementing statistical methods on structured data. Professional experience with SAS, R, and STATA statistical software. Experience with medical claims datasets. Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree. Two years of experience in a research setting. Two years of experience in a technical leadership or mentorship role. Experience working with medical claims data in CMSs Virtual Research Data Center (VRDC) Experience with Python, Java, or similar.
