Company: Industrial Equipment Development & Design Location: Kent Ridge (Nearest MRT Station) Work From Home: 2 days per week Candidates may be considered for Assistant Manager level based on experience Job Description: Our client focuses on engineering design on products such as data capturing, industrial controller and industrial robots. They are looking for a Hardware Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager to join their Research & Development team, contributing to the design and innovation of data capture devices, industrial controllers, and robots. Responsible for development of electronics hardware for industrial controller products Engage in development activities including design/implementation of circuits, troubleshooting of designs, conducting validation/compliance tests, and creation of design/product documentation To manage existing products with quality improvement, feature enhancement, cost optimization, customization etc Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to define technical requirements and scope project deliverables Job Requirements: Minimum 7 years of experience in related role for Hardware development. Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related qualification. Experience designing electrical circuits and printed circuit boards for hardware systems with expertise in analog design (using components such as DACs, ADCs, Power Management circuit (including isolated power supply), Digital Input/Output circuit design. Demonstrated skills in the hardware development process, including circuit simulation & design, component de-rating, hardware debug & release. Experience with electronic hardware design tools such as schematic capture (Mentor Graphics or similar), PCB design, timing analysis, and signal integrity. Demonstrated skills in of EMC/EMI noise prevention/reduction techniques Familiarity with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) is a plus Work with supplier(s) to discuss requirements, testing method, identification of issues and resolutions. Experience in Industrial Products design and development and/or Product Certification will have an added advantage Experience in embedded design with microcontroller/ASIC/FPGA will have an added advantage Interested applicants please apply directly for further shortlisting review.
