Position Highlights:
Job Type: Contract for a Leave Coverage Schedule: Monday through Friday, school hours Location: Onsite at a public school in Joliet, Illinois Caseload: Elementary, K-1st grade Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP Implement IEP goals and treatment plans Maintain accurate documentation, including service logs and student progress notes Prepare materials and schedule therapy sessions Assist with data collection and support student evaluations Communicate clearly with students, families, and school staff Follow state, district, and federal special education regulations Attend training and school-based team meetings as needed Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or completion of an approved SLPA certification program Active or pending Illinois SLPA license or certification Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available) Phaxis Education Benefits:
