Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) . This role offers the opportunity to provide anesthesia services in state-of-the-art facilities with a
Monday-Friday schedule, no call, and no OB responsibilities . Responsibilities:
Pre-Anesthetic Assessment:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and plan anesthesia care based on patient needs. Anesthesia Administration:
Administer general, regional, local, and sedation anesthesia. Intraoperative Monitoring:
Monitor vital signs and adjust anesthesia as needed during procedures. Post-Anesthetic Care:
Manage recovery and address pain and nausea. Equipment Management:
Ensure anesthesia equipment is properly maintained. Collaboration:
Work with surgical and healthcare teams for seamless patient care. Documentation:
Accurately record all anesthesia-related information. Patient Education:
Explain procedures, risks, and recovery to patients and families. Quality Improvement:
Engage in initiatives to improve anesthesia practices. Qualifications:
Active CRNA certification from NBCRNA. Current NY RN license or eligibility. BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications. Preferred: ≥2 years CRNA experience. Proficiency in various anesthetic techniques. Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills. Commitment to patient safety and best practices. Schedule & Benefits:
