Job Description: The University of Florida Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine is currently seeking a full-time academic board certified or board eligible Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon. This position will be an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor on a tenure-accruing or non-tenure accruing track. Title and salary will be commensurate with experience and academic qualifications.
Responsibilities will include patient care, teaching and research with emphasis on orthopaedic trauma surgery.
Expected Salary: Salary will be commensurate with experience and academic qualifications.
Minimum Requirements:
MD or DO degree. Completion of an accredited Orthopaedic Surgery Residency. A one-year or greater Trauma Surgery Fellowship. Board certified or eligible. Eligibility for an unrestricted Florida Medical License.
Preferred Qualifications:

Final candidate will be required to provide official transcript to the hiring department upon hire. A transcript will not be considered "official" if a designation of "Issued to Student" is visible. Degrees earned from an education institution outside of the United States are required to be evaluated by a professional credentialing service provider approved by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES), which can be found at http://www.naces.org/.
