Our client is a boutique public relations and communications agency based in New York City. With a reputation for crafting compelling brand narratives and delivering high impact media strategies, the agency partners with both emerging and established brands to drive awareness, engagement, and growth.

This role is a pivotal leadership position for a seasoned communications professional with a strong track record, exceptional media relationships, and a passion for building and mentoring high-performing teams.

Base Pay Range $200,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities

Client Strategy & Leadership:

Serve as senior counsel to clients across beauty and consumer healthcare, providing strategic direction, brand positioning, and crisis communications expertise.

Team Development:

Lead, inspire, and grow a team of PR professionals; foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Media & Influencer Relations:

Cultivate and leverage relationships with top-tier media, influencers, and industry stakeholders to secure meaningful coverage and partnerships.

Integrated Campaigns:

Oversee the development and execution of integrated PR campaigns that span earned, owned, and shared media channels.

Business Development:

Drive new business efforts, including identifying opportunities, leading pitches, and onboarding new clients.

Agency Growth:

Collaborate with executive leadership to shape agency vision, operational strategy, and long-term growth initiatives.

Qualifications

12+ years of experience in public relations, with expertise in beauty and consumer healthcare.

Proven success in leading client accounts and managing cross-functional teams.

Strong media network and understanding of the evolving media and influencer landscape.

Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and strategic thinking.
