Job Summary Provides direct support to the Breast Imaging Department including Radiologists, Technologists, and patients. Primary responsibilities include direct patient care, assisting Radiologists with breast imaging procedures, and supporting Technologists. Other responsibilities include knowledge and execution of current organizational/departmental policies and procedures, breast imaging exam details, and inventory/supplies (including but not limited to medication). As a representative of the Breast Imaging Department HAIII’s are required to always maintain professionalism and facilitate interdepartmental communication.
The flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations is required.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $40.19 - $40.19 (Hourly Rate).

Required Qualifications
High School Diploma
Three (3) years of experience
Read and write in the English Language
Flexibility in scheduling, ability to rotate shifts and coverage for weekends and holidays if necessary
This position requires flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations
Ability to read medical reports/chart notes/exam orders
Working knowledge of Apex/PACS/Microsoft Office
Budgetary consciousness (use of time, supplies and productivity)
Follows policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a hospital acute care setting or imaging center
Medical Assistant Certification
License/Certification
BLS Certification
