Our client, Genesis10, is seeking an Application Programmer in the financial industry located in Plano, TX, Pennington, NJ and Charlotte, NC. This 12+ month contract position requires full‑time availability as a Genesis10 employee.
Responsibilities
Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, Site Reliability Engineers and DevOps teams to deliver quality releases and maintain platform stability.
Manage and develop the end‑to‑end testing function from story acceptance criteria through post‑release check‑outs.
Implement testing best practices, measure coverage and report quality.
Build automation frameworks supporting Test Driven Development, Behavior Driven Development, end‑to‑end testing and performance testing.
Ensure testing teams meet all required policies, standards and artefact retention.
Act as a hands‑on tester, owning assigned projects and contributing throughout the testing lifecycle.
Participate in meetings to resolve testing blockers.
Contribute to story refinement, requirement definition and work estimation.
Perform spikes or proofs of concept to mitigate risk or prototype new ideas.
Write code solutions, unit tests and deliver requirements/stories per acceptance criteria.
Utilize multiple architectural components across data, application and business layers.
Assist the team in resolving technical complexities involved in story work.
Contribute to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze reports, identify issues and triage causes.
Document and communicate deployment, maintenance, support and business functionality information.
Coach and support team members during delivery/release events such as CI‑CD pipelines, branching, pull requests, issue triage, merge/conflict resolution and release notes.
Requirements
8+ years of experience as an automation/manual testing professional.
2‑3 years of experience with containerization automation tools.
Proficiency with Selenium.
Experience in functional/manual testing.
Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server.
Only candidates who are immediately available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered.
Pay Range $55.06 – $63.06
