This opportunity is designed for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with a focus on supporting elementary students, particularly in kindergarten through first grade and life skills classrooms. The position is onsite in Overland Park, KS, serving an elementary school setting from August 1, 2025, through December 19, 2025.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy to students in K-1 and life skills classrooms.
Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor student progress.
Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student needs.
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and school policies.
Qualifications
Hold a valid Kansas Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
Credentials as a Speech Language Pathologist with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
Experience working with young elementary students and those with life skill needs.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a school team.
Position Details
Contract duration : August 1, 2025, to December 19, 2025.
Weekly hours : between 24 and 37.5, adjustable based on candidate availability.
Location : Onsite in Overland Park, Kansas.
Discipline : Speech Language Pathology.
