A school-based speech-language pathologist (SLP) is needed for an elementary school in Overland Park, KS. This contract position is for the current school year (CSY) and offers the opportunity to provide essential speech therapy services to students in a supportive educational environment.
Qualifications
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
Experience working as an SLP in school settings preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Knowledge of speech and language development in children
Location Elementary school located in Overland Park, Kansas
Responsibilities
Assess and evaluate students speech, language, and communication needs
Develop individualized therapy plans based on assessment results
Provide direct speech and language therapy to students
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals
Maintain accurate records and reports according to school and state guidelines
Participate in IEP meetings and progress monitoring
