We’re looking for a
Revenue Tax Analyst 3
to join our
Revenue Processing Center .
An ideal candidate should possess the following competencies:
Focusing on Customers:
The ability to serve the needs of those who support and/or rely on the services provided.

The ability to ensure resources such as time, money, and people are utilized appropriately to result in maximum business value.
Using Data:
The ability to use relevant and valid data to inform a recommendation for action.
Minimum Qualifications
Three years of experience in administrative services.
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will substitute for six months of the required experience.

Job Duties
Obtain, review, and analyze data concerning the registration program's scope and goals, and the policies, practices, methods, and procedures used to implement complex registrations.
Conduct thorough research and analysis of complex registration cases received within sections, outside sections, and customer inquiries.
Research agency policies, tax laws, and division needs to open or edit complex customer registrations.
Utilize expert experience and knowledge of entity and tax types to determine appropriate account creation procedure for complex accounts based on research.
Appointment Type:
Promotional or Detail to Special Duty, open only to current permanent classified employees of Louisiana Department of Revenue.
Compensation:
The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
