About the role
Join our property management team as an Apartment Maintenance Technician in San Jose, where you’ll keep residential communities safe, functional, and welcoming. This hands‑on role ensures units and common areas stay in top condition through timely repairs, preventive care, and resident‑focused service.
Key Abilities
Execute daily work orders: Fix plumbing leaks, unclog drains, repair electrical outlets, troubleshoot HVAC systems, and service appliances (refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers).
Prepare unit turnovers: Patch drywall, paint interiors, replace flooring, clean fixtures, and test smoke / CO detectors for move‑in readiness.
Maintain property grounds & systems: Clear debris, inspect irrigation, service pool equipment, change air filters, and lubricate locks / hardware.
Experience fixing water heaters is a must!
Schedule Monday ‑ Friday with the availability to work weekends as well when required. Maintenance techs are required to be on call every month and a half for the full week.
Pay rate $25.00 per hour
