IT Systems Team Lead
with proven management experience in the MSP industry. This position is ideal for a hands‑on technical leader who can guide a team, oversee complex client environments, and ensure consistent, high‑quality service delivery.
You will lead a team of engineers while maintaining technical involvement across Azure, Microsoft 365, and on‑prem infrastructure. This role combines leadership, project oversight, and escalation support in a collaborative, growth‑oriented environment.
Day to Day
Manage and develop a team of Level 1 and Level 2 engineers, providing mentorship, training, and performance feedback
Oversee daily operations and ensure SLA adherence across multiple client environments
Serve as the senior escalation point for infrastructure, networking, and cloud issues
Design and implement client projects, including migrations, upgrades, and deployments
Administer and optimize Microsoft 365, Azure, and on‑premises systems for performance and security
Collaborate with leadership to refine processes, documentation, and service delivery standards
Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring proactive communication and strategic alignment
Required Experience
At least two years of MSP experience and two years of IT Leadership experience
Proven success leading and coaching a technical team within a Managed Services environment
Deep technical expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, and Windows Server administration
Experience managing complex client infrastructures, including cloud and hybrid setups
Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives
Demonstrated ability to balance leadership responsibilities with hands‑on technical work
