What You Will Do
Lead Maintenance Excellence
Develop and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance strategies aligned with ISO 9001 standards.
Drive reliability engineering initiatives that eliminate chronic equipment issues and minimize downtime.
Implement autonomous maintenance and SCADA systems to enhance uptime and asset management.
Deliver Technical Solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system challenges quickly and effectively.
Lead root cause analysis efforts and ensure long‑term corrective actions are sustained.
Oversee PLC/HMI and automation improvements to boost throughput and efficiency.
Drive Capital Projects & Optimization
Manage end‑to‑end execution of maintenance and engineering capital projects—from concept to commissioning.
Apply lean manufacturing and design‑for‑maintenance principles to simplify processes and increase reliability.
Partner with vendors and cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth integration and system optimization.
Build and Lead a High‑Performing Team
Supervise and mentor a skilled maintenance team, fostering accountability, engagement, and growth.
Promote cross training, professional development, and a culture of safety and continuous learning.
Champion Lean, TPM, and 5S initiatives that empower employees and drive measurable improvements.
Ensure Safety & Compliance
Lead with a safety‑first mindset—ensuring all maintenance activities meet OSHA, NFPA 70E, and automotive safety standards.
Maintain thorough documentation of maintenance, PM plans, audits, and risk assessments.
Collaborate with EHS and Operations to enhance workplace safety and operational reliability.
What You Bring
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).
Experience : 8+ years in engineering and maintenance within high‑volume manufacturing, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and automation systems (Rockwell, Siemens, etc.).
CMMS expertise and capital planning experience.
Familiarity with SCADA systems and design‑for‑maintenance principles.
Certifications (preferred): CMRP, PMP, Six Sigma, or Safety.
Industry Knowledge: Automotive or transportation manufacturing strongly preferred; experience with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or VDA 6.3 a plus.
